This week sees the third and fourth days of industrial action from the teaching union NEU (National Education Union).  The formal industrial action is in in relation to the trade dispute with the Secretary of State for Education for a fully funded, above-inflation pay rise.

As a school the information that we currently have shows that we will have a severely reduced number of staff.  Therefore, in the interest of safety we will reduce the number of students attending in person. 

On the 15^th and 16^th March the school will be partially open:

• Year 11 will be onsite on both days completing lessons (compulsory attendance).
• The cast for the Drama performance ‘Tuesday’ will be in on both days (compulsory attendance).
• The members of the Year 10 Headteacher’s Council on the morning of Thursday 16^th (compulsory attendance).
